About Us
( Well, I guess it's really just me! ) I've been cooking since I was about 5, started catering at 17 and have been doing something with food ever since. I was taught by some of the best chefs in the world - my mom, my uncle Paul and the grandmothers!
Lost in the pack of a huge family, my best times were spent at the elbow of these fine men and women who were passionate about food and cooking. Along the way, my life and career choices sent me to rugged, remote locations where being able to make a good moose head cheese was as important as what to do with seal flippers! Rustic cooking in logging camps, tree planting camps or just during hunting/canoeing parties was where I excelled. I was and am always on people's lists when it comes to travel and parties because I love to see the suspense on everyone's faces when they see what can be done.
